NCP: Pawar not claimant to PM job, suited to act as oppn bridge

NCP patriarch Sharad Pawar has never been a prime ministerial aspirant but is best suited to serve as a bridge between opposition parties since he commands respect from all, his party said on Sunday even as the veteran Rajya Sabha MP told party leaders that NCP will never “surrender” before the “rulers in Delhi”. The assertion was made by party MP Praful Patel amid renewed activity within the opposition camp to unite all non-BJP outfits.
