The Election Commission on Monday set the ball rolling for assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram - the last electoral battle in the run-up to 2024 general election - by announcing a 24-day poll window extending from November 7 to November 30. Chhattisgarh will be the only state to have polling in two phases.
